Shortbread Stories
An excellent new website on which professional and amateur writers post original short stories - some of which are available as audio downloads. There is a section of stories for young people - by such published writers as Joan Lennon and Kenneth Steven - but Pushkin Prize entrants will find lots of examples of great short story writing throughout the site.
Scottish Book Trust
The leading agency for promoting reading, writing and literature in Scotland.
SBT administers Live Literature Funding, through which schools can organise author visits from Scottish authors.
The Scottish Poetry Library
The place to go if you have any queries about poetry and poets from Scotland - and many other parts of the world.

The Official Robert Burns Site
We know that Pushkin admired the work of Robert Burns. We often find that our Russian prizewinners know more about Burns than our Scottish Prizewinners - this is a very good resource to learn more about Scotland's favourite poet.
