We were delighted to welcome Mr Andrey Pritsepov, Consul General of the Russian Federation.
He was introduced to our two winners from St Petersburg, Milana and Lizzie (Elizaveta).
Our judges - Theresa Breslin and Joan Lennon - gave wonderful appraisals of each of the 12 prize-winning folios, followed by readings of extracts from their writing.
And everybody posed for the traditional Pushkin Prize-winners' photos once the formal part of the event was over.
