Scotland seemed to me to be such a remote country and it is wonderful that the Pushkin Prizes give the chance to young people not only to reveal their mind and thoughts by writing, but also to visit a new unknown country.

I love visiting theatres, museums, walking along the embankments of the Neva River. I adore the wonderful sights of the monuments. It is so amazing to walk along the streets where our famous writers such as A S Pushkin, N V Gogol and F M Dostoyevsky strolled during the White Nights.

I have different interests. Among them are: writing, reading, listening to music. I like to read. Most of all I like classic literature of the XIX Century, such writers as A S Pushkin, Lermontov and many others. My favourite book is Evgeny Onegin. I am good at swimming and playing badminton. Every morning I go jogging. My family is my mother, two grandmothers, two sisters, two brothers, one cousin and one niece. We are all good friends, though sometimes we have arguments.

Everything that has happened to me - I remember…
